My art series focuses on the exploration of the qualities of nail polish and its connection to storytelling. Using semi-translucent textures and biomorphic shapes, I aimed to create an interactive, sculptural piece that evokes a mix of familiarity and unfamiliarity for the viewer. Experimenting with the liquid simulation was a new challenge for me. The pieces express moods and emotions through color, form, and abstraction. "I Meta My Soul Mate" uses iridescent purple hues to evoke a dreamy, romantic feeling, while biomorphic shapes symbolize love and soulmates. Bold primary colors were used to evoke joy and excitement. My goal was to create a piece that appeals to a diverse audience, so I combined traditional techniques such as painting and sculpting with modern techniques like 3D animation. The result is a unique, captivating piece that showcases my exploration of liquid simulation and its connection to storytelling.
