‘Storm Rider’ carries the soul of the invincible Chinese warrior Lü Bu fused with the spirit of a Saturday morning Super Sentai Hero. He flies through time and space smashing through woodblock print, calligraphic line and manga panels to appear in 2022. A culmination of my personal upbringing in fables, fiction and true mythology. The artwork is grounded in median point and line mapping this character’s journey from past to present digital day.
