GREEN is the second iteration of a three-part series exploring Red Green and Blue (RGB) as a theme, with each generative painting representing one of the colours in a literal sense. It’s the deconstruction of our digital perception, as it is the colour model used to display images in electronic systems. As with the rest of the collection, the generative artworks have an underlying theme of movement, where a stylus is used as a paintbrush to define a set of geometric algorithms. As the algorithms accumulate the original marks are lost and the artwork takes on its own direction, continuously layering upon itself until the canvas is totally saturated.
