My late grandfather (Jaju) immigrated from Poland so I wanted my first trading card to have some reference to the very strong but often repressed lineage of women I come from. 'Dagmara' is a Slavic girl's name meaning "day maid". I imagine her escaping some nightmarish backstory, with a heart set on revenge. She's a talent in combat and was gifted a Kitana by another character I plan to build into this series. The moment captured is during her travels in solitude. She finds a field of wildflowers, takes a moment to reflect, and realises she is experiencing a new dawn.
