(USA-LA) California-based artists Fallen Fruit (David Allen Burns and Austin Young), make public art which explores the role of fruit in creating shared culture. Known for their awe-inspiring installations at both public and private institutions across the globe, this is their first foray into the NFT space. "Garden of Delight" is their genesis collection, consisting of 36 items drawn from three original digital works. "Public Gathering at the Monument to Sharing" and "Love is Blind in Natural History" include a physical print for the primary sale, and one fruit tree planted in honour of the genesis owner and mapped on endlessorchard.com for sharing.
“We aim to bring more beauty into the world," says Fallen Fruit. "Natural History" and "Native Plants", are patterns of flora native to Australia, created for the artist’s immersive installation artwork "Natural History" at the NGV Triennial in Melbourne.
Fallen Fruit is an art collaboration originally conceived in 2004 by David Burns, Matias Viegener and Austin Young. Since 2013, David and Austin have continued the collaborative work.
